作品設計概念： While the bodhisattva Ksitigarbha is typically depicted on a lotus symbolizing his rebirth, LIULI artists have sculpted the saint here sitting atop an abstracted piece of the Earth. Ksitigarbha has been classically seen as the bringer of hope and light in the darkness. Combined with natural elements here, LIULI artists send a message about wishes for Mother Earth. The partially gold-plated artwork exudes a radiance that strikes a resemblance to the stories of the patron saint in traditional Asian art, shining a light on the spirit of the piece as well as classicism. |
