作品設計概念：

 This crystal rendition of the Buddhist monk Ksitigarbha gives a nod of the head to the classic depiction of him standing upon a Lotus flower, symbolizing his rebirth.  The work differs in its use of light, which represents hope for the hopeless and enlightenment for the lost.  As the patron deity and guardian of children, he is manifested in stories as a guide to those who need strength.  Fittingly, the medium of crystal glass invokes the fundamental spirit behind this classic figure—to shine a light in the darkness, and to bring hope to those in need.
