作品設計概念：

虎出西方，西方顏色為白，屬性是金， 金，含有堅毅、堅定、剛烈、穩固、閃耀的寓意， 如同虎，作為森林之王，威猛勇敢，一往直前， 所到處，無不是的虎嘯生風，披靡天下。 對於虎的刻畫，著重體現在神獸的肌體表現。準確解析虎的身體結構，進一步將神威的氣質賦予作品。創作表達“威而不怒，猛而不凶”，神獸的力量之美和守護精神一覽無遺。

The white tiger is a divine mythological beast that guards the cardinal compass direction of the West in ancient Chinese astrology.  Represented here in a mighty pose, the tiger stands above an orb tastefully tinted with notes of amber, and etched with the etchings of ancient astrological maps.  The piece comes from one of six in the small but powerful 2018 LIULI collection that pays homage to the place that ancient astrology in modern culture and art.  In folklore, this guardian deity has been named Jian Bing and, according to legend, its tail would turn white when reaching the age of 500.  When correlated with the five principles system of Chinese geomancy, represents the metal element—also the autumn season.  Representing these qualities, the white tiger embodies the spirit of kingly nobility, appearing only when a king rules with absolute virtue or when there is peace in the world.
