Design Description:

Encapsulating some of the most significant and powerful motifs in the history of Chinese art, this standalone piece from the collection “Buoyed by Spring Light” is perfuse with fengshui symbolism and aesthetic balance. The design features a divine tianlu as its central focal point. The mythical creature stands poised with confidence and charisma, upholding the many elements of both heaven and earth in its energy.  The design embodies the classic motif of the four cardinal compass directions and eight dimensions of the earth—an acknowledgement of one’s presence in the universe. Together, with the ethereal energy of the tianlu, this masterful crystal work incites confidence and a faith in the universe—in an ultimate harmony with the four seasons.

天祿，古代瑞獸，與麒麟、辟邪並稱為古代祭祀「三大神獸」。天祿似鹿而長尾，可攘除災難，永安百祿。

風水上，天祿用以招財。天祿之名，源自「天命」與「祿位」，富含「爵祿「之意，被認為永綏百祿，財運亨通，是招財祿瑞獸，亦合適擺放在單位，寓意升職加薪。

宋朝沈括《夢溪筆談 · 異事》記載：「至和中，交趾獻麟，如牛而大，通身皆大鱗，首有一角。考之記傳，與麟不類，當時有謂之山犀者，然犀不言有鱗……今以予觀之，殆天祿也。」從上面這些記載可以得出，天祿主要是用來祈護辟邪的，並在建築是最常見的。因此現代很多人喜歡天祿用以避邪，認為這樣可以祓除不祥，永綏百祿，是寄託了古代漢族人民一種辟邪除災、迎祥納福的美好願望。
