Collection: Twelve Blooms Design Description: The lotus flower has roots in mud and brilliant petals opening up toward the heavens. It is also culturally significant with roots deep in history. For all that this flower represents, it is one of the most studied and sculpted subjects of LIULI studio art. The flower prevails over the month of June, in which it blooms. This glass art rendition of the classic lotus comes from a collection of twelve flower glassworks—each representing its respective month of the year. 當看到“花開十二”的顏色，是試一次不行，試二次也不行，而是試了好幾次才成功的；它畢竟不是顏料，它在溫控下的燒制，是有很大限制的。當雕塑做到幾乎完美的時候，琉璃工房依然會在作品的定色上“用心”。“花開十二”系列，每一朵花的顏色，都可以讓人想像出它們展開花蕾的姿態。 |
